“He is in England” – Dortmund chief jokes about why Erling Haaland missed fitness test

 Erling Haaland was due back to 

Dortmund today to partake in the 

clubs fitness testing ahead of their

 pre-season.

However, the clubs head of sport,

 Michael Zorc has confirmed that he 

was not in attendance, and when 

asked why, he joked, ‘he is in England!’

Of course he was laughing when 

he said it and it was clearly a joke, 

but it will certainly only add more fuel 

to the transfer rumour fire after months

 of speculation surrounding Chelsea’s 

interest in signing the young striker.

It will give Chelsea fans some hope that

 something might actually be happening,

 but it remains to be known the real 

reason why he missed todays fitness 

testing, I’m sure we will find out that 

it is a legitimate reason soon.

Or maybe he is actually sorting out a 

move to the Champions of Europe this 

summer? We shall soon find out regardless!
