Breaking news: Dressing room leaks behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's downfall at Manchester United
A good indication as to how well a manager is
doing at a football club is the relationship he has with
his bench.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's
bench reveals another reason why he is not fit
for purpose .
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is struggling as
Manchester United manager.
His lack of tactical prowess, his one-dimensional
style of play, his failure to win a trophy during
his three years are just a few criticisms towards
the Norwegian.
One aspect, however, which is a more
subtle but equally damning way to highlight
how far away Solksjaer is from being the right
man at United is the attitude of the players
who don’t start regularly.
The attitude on the bench will reveal a huge
deal on what the players truly think of the
manager and if the United bench is anything
to go by you can add that to the long list of things
Solskjaer has failed at.
The likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial,
Alex Telles, are all fine examples of players
who have been impressive the last time they
played for United and you’d think these players
would be provided with more opportunity to kick
on. But we all know that has been far from
the case.
Where do you even start with Jadon Sancho
and more importantly Donny van de Beek?
Two players most of Europe would’ve done
anything to sign just 18 months ago are now
watching their careers rot away on the bench.
It seems they have no hope at this moment in
time in being provided with the opportunity to
rectify that.
