Ralf Rangnick has been urged to brighten 

up the dressing room after Manchester United 

midfielder Paul Pogba has been informed he has 

been "terrible for a long time." 


Pogba has been criticized at United for his club

-record fee and poor performances, and he was 

told last week that if he refuses to sign a contract

 extension, he will "never" play for the club again. 


He is currently recovering from a thigh injury 

sustained while on international duty with France

, and his last league outing for the Reds came in 

a thumping at the hands of Liverpool, in which 

he was sent off immediately after coming on as a 

half-time substitute. 


"Paul Pogba's performances for Manchester 

United have put him in this position." Former

 Leeds striker Noel Whelan told Football Insider

, "He's been horrible for a long time now." 


"There have been flashes where he appeared 

to be a top-tier player."
