 has acknowledged that star scorer Erling Haaland 

may depart the club at the end of the season. 



Manchester United lost out to Dortmund two 

years ago when the German club snatched him 

away from Red Bull Salzburg, but the Old 

Trafford club has remained interested and 

is thought to be one of several clubs targeting

 his signing. 


While most expected Haaland would leave

 the Bundesliga at the conclusion of the season, 

a curious occurrence at the end of his side's 

unimpressive win over Greuther Furth on Wednesday

 night saw him applaud and wave to fans on all 

four sides of the stadium. 


It appeared to be an emotional farewell from

 the Norwegian, as seen in the video below, 

fueling rumours that he could leave the club 

in the January transfer window.
