 Ralf Rangnick may have only managed 

Manchester United for three games as an 

interim manager, but his activities behind 

the scenes have given fans an insight into the 

type of manager he is. 



The 63-year-old is one of football's most 

well-known coaches, and his ideology has impacted

 many of his peers. 


But little is known about the 'Godfather 

of Gegenpressing' when it comes to his management

 style off the field. 


And his credentials were put to the test just 

weeks into his new job, when a Covid-19 outbreak

 decimated the Red Devils' squad and prompted

 the postponement of two Premier League matches. 


Despite the danger, Rangnick went above and 

beyond to make sure he was doing everything he 

could to keep his players healthy and to further 

convey what he expects from them in the coming

 months.
