 star, Kieran Trippier, for quite some time and


 the latest reports are intriguing.



In the summer transfer window (AS), the 


Red Devils were pressing to sign him but


 Simeone blocked the transfer and demanded 


activation of his 60 million euros (£50million) 


release clause. Back in November last year


, As reported that the defender is still on 


the radar at Old Trafford.

 Trippier could finally end up agreeing a

Atletico Madrid side that won the Spanish


 La Liga title in the last campaign. Moreover

At Man Utd, Ralf Rangnick has mainly


 utilized Diogo Dalot in the right back role


. The Portuguese international was linked 


with Roma lately but now, he seems to 


be a key 


player under the German boss. On the other hand, they also have Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Therefore, in my opinion, there is no dire need to sign a veteran right back in the form of Kieran Trippier and Man Utd should focus on strengthening other departments. What do you think?
